Voxaria is a personal voice alarm and reminder app that wakes you up — and nudges you through your day — with real, human-sounding voices.
The short version: We don't sell your data, we don't build advertising profiles, and we collect only what's needed to deliver the experience. There are no analytics, tracking, or advertising tools in the app of any kind.
Data We Collect and Store
Everything you create in Voxaria is stored locally on your iPhone:
- Your first name, if you choose to provide one (used only to personalize greetings and reminders)
- Your alarms and reminders, including any message text, labels, voices, and schedules
- Your voice preferences, appearance settings, and onboarding progress
- Cached audio files for reminders you've generated, so they play instantly and offline
Deleting the app removes all of this from your device.
What We Don't Collect
Voxaria does not collect or request:
- Your email address, phone number, real name, or Apple ID
- Microphone, Face ID, camera, contacts, location, photos, health, or calendar access
- Analytics, session data, screen views, taps, crash reports, or performance metrics
- Advertising identifiers of any kind
If you'd like to dictate a custom reminder instead of typing it, you can use the iOS keyboard's built-in dictation button — that's handled entirely by iOS, not by Voxaria.
How Voice Audio is Generated
- Alarms & Quick Reminders: Play pre-recorded audio bundled inside the app. These work fully on-device, with no internet connection needed.
- Custom voice reminders (Pro+): When you create one, your reminder text — which may include your first name — is sent securely to generate spoken audio in your chosen voice. The finished audio is delivered to your device and cached locally so it plays instantly next time.
Third-Party Services
Cloudflare (Security Layer)
Custom reminder requests pass through our own secure Cloudflare service on their way to the voice generator. This keeps our credentials safe and protects your data in transit. Your reminder text is processed only to generate the audio — it is not stored on our servers. The only thing kept server-side is an anonymous counter (see below) used to manage fair daily usage. ElevenLabs (Voice Generation)
The text of a custom reminder is sent to ElevenLabs — the service that turns it into spoken audio in your chosen voice. No Voxaria account or personal identifier is passed along with it. We recommend keeping reminder messages light and avoiding passwords, financial details, or other sensitive information. See elevenlabs.io/privacy.
Apple
Voxaria uses Apple's built-in alarm and notification systems to deliver your alarms and reminders, and Apple's StoreKit to handle subscriptions. These run through Apple, and Voxaria never sees your Apple ID or payment details. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone else.
Anonymous Device Identifier
To keep custom voice generation fair for everyone, Voxaria creates a random, anonymous ID on your device and uses it to count how many custom reminders are generated each day. This ID is not linked to your Apple ID, email, or any other identifier, contains no personal information, and cannot be used to identify you.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data stays on your device until you delete an alarm or reminder, clear cached audio, or delete the app — removing the app erases everything. Reminder text sent for voice generation is processed only to create the audio and is not retained on our servers afterward.
AI-Generated & Licensed Content
The character images in Voxaria are generated using artificial intelligence and are not photographs of real, identified individuals. The voices are provided through third-party services, including ElevenLabs, under their respective terms and licensing. Any resemblance to a real person — living or dead — in name, appearance, or voice is coincidental and unintentional, except in a limited number of cases where a likeness or voice is used with the individual's permission.

Acceptable Use & Human Rights
Voxaria is committed to respecting fundamental human rights. The app may not be used to facilitate, promote, or support activities that violate internationally recognized human rights, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, or harmful conduct directed at others.
Children's Privacy
Voxaria is intended for users aged 16 and over. The app is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Your Rights
You have full control over your data. You can delete everything by removing the app from your device. For any questions about your data, contact us anytime at [email protected].
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we'll make a reasonable effort to let you know in the app.
